What services do you provide?
Our Food Pantry provides groceries to the public and is open every Tuesday from 10am-noon and Thursday from 5-6pm. Our Clothes Closet provides gently used and new clothing for men, women, and children, and is open every Tuesday from 10am-noon and Sundays from 5-6pm. We also offer a free hot meal to the community during our Sunday Night Experience from 5-6pm.
On the First Saturday of each month, we open our doors to serve from 10am-12pm and all of our programs are available to members of the community, plus basic healthcare.

It’s my first time receiving services at the Dream Center– what documentation do I need to bring?
No documentation is required to receive Food Pantry or Clothes Closet services.

I want to donate food to help stock the Food Pantry shelves. What is the process for that?
We accept non-expired perishable and non-perishable food items. Food items must be dropped off at the Augusta Dream Center (3364 Peach Orchard Rd. Augusta, GA 30906) Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm or Sundays from 3-6pm. Please call the Dream Center office for perishable food donations and to coordinate a delivery date.

What clothing & accessory donations do you accept?
We accept clean (in-season) new/gently used clothing for men, women, and children. We also accept new/gently used shoes. (no toys, household items/furniture)
In addition to clothing/shoes, we also accept diapers, wipes, cleaning products, laundry detergent, and toiletries.
When/Where are clothing donations accepted?

In-person deliveries are also accepted during Dream Center office hours: Mondays - Wednesdays from 9am-4pm, Thursdays from 9am-6pm, and Sundays from 3-6pm.
What are the age requirements for volunteering?
Children ages 8 and up are welcome to volunteer. Children ages 8–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Due to health code regulations, children must be 13 and up to cook meals on Sunday nights. We do our best to honor where you'd like to serve, but sometimes we place volunteers on the teams that need the most help that day.

Can I complete my community service hours at the Dream Center?

How can I get my company involved? Can I bring a group of people from my office to volunteer with me?

Are my donations tax-deductible?
The Dream Center is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization, registered with the IRS. All donations are tax-deductible.

How much of my financial support goes directly to the programs you offer?
91% of the Dream Center’s annual revenue goes directly to support programs. 9% of the Dream Center’s annual revenue goes to savings.
Do you sell the donations, or are they given away at no cost?
Clothing/shoe donations are distributed free of charge to our guests.

It’s our desire to distribute items that are modern, in good condition, in season, and clean. Sometimes that is not what we receive; therefore, those items are reallocated to other ministries/recyclable solutions

In-kind donations are welcome, and we appreciate your consideration of the Dream Center with your donations. Please note that once the items have been donated to the Dream Center, ownership is transferred, and the use of the donations is at the discretion of Dream Center management.

Does the Dream Center offer Rental Assistance?
No, at this time, the Dream Center does not have a Rental Assistance program.
Does the Dream Center offer Utility Assistance?
Utility assistance for power, natural gas, or water bills is available by appointment only. To request an appointment, please call the Dream Center office on the first Tuesday of the month you’re requesting help. Appointments are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
